Nuestros hermanos y hermanas hacen un llamado a los apoyantes para participar en la protesta el 29 de Mayo y organizar eventos locales en diferentes partes del país.

Participa con los inmigrantes de Oregon, comunidades de fe, trabajadores y organizaciones comunitarias para decir NO al perfil racial, NO a la 287g porque ¡ningun ser humano es ilegal!!

La SB1070 de Arizona nos afecta a todos. Se legaliza el perfil racial y estan hechando la culpa de la crisis económica a la gente equivocada. Muchos estados están tratando de pasar legislaciones similares. En Oregon, estamos en esa dirección con el crecimiento de la colaboración de la policía y la migra.

Our brothers and sisters in Arizona have called for supporters to join their protests on May 29th and hold solidarity events across the country.

Join Oregon’s immigrant, faith, labor, and community organizations in saying NO to racial profiling, NO to 287g, and NO human being is illegal!

Arizona’s SB1070 affects everyone. It legalizes racial profiling and furthers the disturbing trend of putting the blame for this economic crisis on the wrong people. Several states are already considering similar legislation. In Oregon, we are facing gradual steps in this direction, with the increasing collaboration between local police and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
