Day Laborers´ Day of Service in East Portland

By Absa Echeverria Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” To answer this question, every year on the third Monday of January, thousands of people come together throughout the United States to serve their communities and honor the memory of this great social leader.
