Day laborers and Voz participated in a workshop to learn about Voz’s budget and envision what worker priorities look like for 2020. Among those priorities are creating greater visibility for the MLK Jr. Worker Center to increase job opportunities for workers. 

Day laborers reflected on the importance of coming together and sharing their ideas to help guide the future of the organization, and staff voiced support for increasing worker leadership in all areas of Voz-- whether it’s in the community fighting for immigrant’s rights, or in our board room helping craft our budget.
