To hire a worker, fill out the form below or call us at (503) 234-2043. Our office hours are 7am-2pm from Monday through Friday, and 7am-12pm on Saturday.

Before we are able to send anyone to the job site, we ask that you review our Employer Agreement regarding the terms for hiring a worker from the Voz Worker Center, workers’ rights, and what employers can expect while hiring Voz workers. By submitting this online form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms in the agreement.

Please check our FAQ for information about hiring workers when the heat index is above 80°F. Please be prepared to provide water and shade.

(Please note that it is the employer's responsibility to provide all necessary tools, materials and safety equipment for the job)

Note: We require workers to be hired for at least 4 hours. If the job will not take 4 hours we ask that the worker be paid for the 4 hours. If you think that the job will not take 4 hours but you would like to use the extra time for other jobs, please let us know so that the worker can fully understand your expectations.

Hourly Pay

Note: Our minimum wage at the Worker Center is $20/hour. However, the hourly wage depends on a number of details, such as the type of work, the worker’s experience, and if a greater skill level is required. We ask for a minimum of 4 hours of work per worker. (See the full list of wage rates here.)
