Meet our Board of Directors who works with our staff to fight for equity and justice.

Lisa Hubbard - Interim Board Chair

Lisa learned the value of solidarity growing up in a union family and has spent more than 30 years as a strategic campaigner, organizer, communicator and movement builder with low wage workers in unions, community organizations and worker centers across the U.S. A resident of East Portland since 2017, her joys include weaving labor and community organizations together to build power and tending to the native plant ecosystem in her back yard.

Fatmah Worfeley - Treasurer

From a long line of organizing and building with community, Fatmah Worfeley has been involved in community organizing and social services since 2012. Fatmah Worfeley is a Portland native, and a child to immigrants. A facilitator, story teller, organizer and strategic leader who often is making sure everybody gets to eat, has an opportunity to lead, make decisions and feels seen.

Fatmah is currently holding the Executive Director position at Momentum Alliance, a youth of color led social justice nonprofit, based in Portland, Oregon.

Fatmah is also a mentor to many youth- often youth who have graduated and become alumni of Momentum Alliance programming.

Mayra Ledesma - Secretary

Mayra is a dedicated attorney with an unwavering commitment to serving the Latine low-income community. With a special focus on farmworkers who often encounter significant barriers within the legal system, Mayra’s dedication sets her apart as a compassionate and determined advocate for those who often go unrepresented.

Mayra’s journey to becoming a lawyer is deeply rooted in her personal background. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and raised in Hood River, Oregon, she is the daughter of farmworkers who endured workplace injuries and faced barriers to accessing information about their legal rights. These early experiences ignited a profound passion within her to make a meaningful difference in her community.


Amandeep Sohi

Raised in Oregon City, Amandeep has called the Portland-metro region home for most of their life. They are passionate about building bridges between marginalized communities, community-based organizations, and government agencies. In their role as a community engagement coordinator at the nonprofit organization Verde, Amandeep is grateful for the opportunity to do just that: build relationships and connections, all while creating more equitable spaces. Prior to joining Verde in 2022, Amandeep held positions at the regional government agency Metro and at youth-led non-profit organization Momentum Alliance.

Juliana Minn

Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, Juliana moved to Portland, OR in 2008. Eager to pursue a career in social justice, Juliana graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School and is now the director of the school’s Small Business Legal Clinic (SBLC). Prior to directing the SBLC, Juliana was in private practice and was a staff attorney at the SBLC. Though a lawyer by trade, Juliana is a musician and is active in Portland’s beat-making community, often participating at local events.
