Meet Cyrus! Originally from Mexico, Cyrus has worked at the center as a day laborer for a year and a half. He wanted to share the following about his experiences with Voz:

“Voz is important because here, we’re safe. We have protection and are able to search for safe workbecause we’re registered here. People respect us more because here, we have agency.

It’s good when people come here to register and receive help. The streets can be dangerous, and people may not know what kind of people they’re working with. I like coming here because there are people who come and give out lunch, you can come to rest, and just be here safely. We invite people who don’t know about this place to come join us and work in a safer environment. I am grateful for this center and all the support that there is here.
