Meet Krystal! Krystal grew up here on the west coast, and started working as a day laborer at the center in April 2018. Here’s what she had to say about her experience at the Worker Center so far:

“Voz is important to me because it represents an opportunity to show that regardless of what type of job I do, I always put in all my effort. It doesn’t matter if I’m digging a trench, doing yard work, or gardening, I always put my entire heart and soul into my work!

This is a place that’s a stepping stone to better work opportunities. This is one of the best places to go to get back up on your feet. A lot of people come here from various backgrounds and places, and I think that coming here a good opportunity to build new skills and employment opportunities.”
